Joy MacPhail one of BC’s most notable public figures.
In 1991 she was elected to the BC Legislature and over the next ten years lit up the place.
Her roles included but were not limited to Deputy Premier, Minister of Finance, Minister of Health, Minister of Education, Government House Leader, and Leader of the Opposition.
She also served as the Chair of The Expert Panel on the Future of Housing Supply and Affordability.

David Eby is the Minister Responsible for Housing and he is also the Attorney General in BC. He is on record pointing much of the blame on City and Municipal Councils for grinding the development of new housing to a slow crawl.
